Data

Q: Can I use external data or pre-trained models?

A: Publicly available external data is allowed, provided it is publicly available before the test results submission deadline. Private annotations of such data are prohibited. Open pre-trained models are also allowed.

Publication

Q: Will there be a proceedings paper?

A: We are considering submitting a proceeding. Paper selection is based on quality, with a focus on novel and effective methods that facilitate the translation of medical AI into real-world clinical practice. Links to proceedings of previous CARE events: CARE 2024, CARE 2025.

Q: Will there be a benchmark paper?

A: A benchmark paper may be submitted depending on the specific situation. Among our previous events, MMWHS’17, MS-CMRSeg’19, and MyoPS’20 have published benchmark papers. CARE 2025 has also prepared a benchmark paper for the liver track.

Awards

Q: How are awards determined?

A: The award policy is listed on the homepage. Best paper and runners-up are selected based on paper quality. Best performance awards are based on test results.
